illustrators quarterly issue 34, published by Book Palace Books, features a great range of “Creator Spotlights”, including ace comic artists Jesús Blasco and Francisco Solano López, from Spain and Argentina respectively, who both made major contributions to British comics down the years.
Also featured is Eugenio Sicomoro, a master of realistic monster illustrations and comic strips, and Spanish comic strip artist Victor de la Fuente. Plus, there’s a visit to the studio of Arantza Martinez, whose paintings bring a life like realism to the worlds of fantasy and fairy tales.
