Jump on board 2000AD, with this week’s “Introduction” Prog – and check out the new Best of 2000AD, too

2000AD Prog 2301 Montage

This week’s issue of 2000AD, on sale Wednesday 28th September 2022 features an all-new line up of stories as a jumping on point to entice new thrill seekers, behind a cover by PJ Holden.

The sting in the tail is that 2000AD Prog 2301 also comes with a new price of £3.50, the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic victim to escalating costs like other things at present. This might be time to consider subscribing, if you don’t already – it works out cheaper.

Offering a one-and-done “Judge Dredd” tale, the return of simian seditionist Chimpsy, new series “Enemy Earth”, a brand new “Future Shock” and the return of Rob Williams and Simon Fraser’s “Hershey”, this is a great “jumping on” issue, perfect for new readers to get on board.

Here’s the intel on this and other Rebellion releases, including the first issue of the delayed Best of 2000AD, a terrific compendium of fantastic strips from the weekly title,

Enemy Earth: Book One by Cavan Scott (w) Luke Horsman (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Perhaps mankind should’ve expected it, given the destruction humanity has wrought upon the planet Earth. There was always going to be a point in which the world decided that enough was enough, and Mother Nature would turn against the people that lived upon its surface. So it came without warning — when Earth’s flora and fauna mutated and suddenly started attacking everyone. Young Zoe is fleeing her own tragedy…

Out in the vast reaches of the universe, there are an infinite number of stories waiting to be told.
