Lakes Festival Comics Clock Tower – Exhibitors Welcome!

Lakes International Comic Art Festival 2019 - Comics Clock TowerJust a reminder that applications are being invited from exhibitors who would like to feature in the Comics Clock Tower at the 2019 Lakes International Comic Art Festival in Kendal, Cumbria – the seventh annual gathering of comics creators and fans, taking over the whole town with events, workshops, free stuff, film screenings – and Smurfs!

This year’s Festival will run from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 October with the Comics Clock Tower open for business as usual on the Saturday and Sunday.

This year, there will be even more space for creators thanks to additional space for international guests being organised elsewhere.

“One of the many things I love about LICAF is that entry to its core Comics Clock Tower is free,” enthuses Festival regular and patron Stephen L. Holland of Nottingham-based comic shop Page 45, “so the locals and those lured in from all over Europe flood in, then swoon over glorious graphic novels and comics!

“Every year LICAF gets bigger and bigger, and we broke our own weekend record for the fourth consecutive year, taking over £10,000 yet again!”

• If you would like to apply send an email to caroleATcomicartfestival.com to ask for an application form. Applications must be made by 5.00pm on Friday 29th March 2019
