Lakes Festival Podcast taken over by gorillas!

Lakes International Comic Art Festival Podcast 57 - SilverbeardSilverbeard the Gorilla – star of the new The Seven Sagas Of Silverbeard comic currently seeking funding on Kickstarter – has reportedly taken over the latest episode of the Lakes International Comic Art Festival Podcast.

Luckily, it seems he didn’t quite get the chance to do an interview, Not the Nine O’Clock News, “Gerald the Gorilla” style – but his new comic does get a well deserved plug.

On the latest episode, the humans talk about their day at MCM Manchester and have a few interviews with more humans – and Ian Loxam and Nikki Bates look at some of the events for this year’s Comic Art Festival, too. These include Joe Glass, Dan Whitehead (talking about his new comic Ella Upgraded, which is currently funding on Kickstarter), artist Steve Penfold, creator of Moon, and cartoonist Tom Sparke, perhaps best known as creator of Captain Fishbeard.

Pete Taylor .. well, Pete, Silverbeard’s co-creator, talks to Mark Hughes… the characters’s other creator at Catfood Comics about the Silverbeard project and the new Kickstarter that allows you to read all about the feisty gorilla’s adventuresThe Seven Sagas Of Silverbeard.

Other reviews include Frank on the Farm by Jordan Thomas and Clark Bint, and Pride by Joe Glass.
