The team behind the annual Lawless Comic Con have announced it will return to Bristol as a physical event over the weekend of 28th – 29th May 2022.

Weekend and Trader Table Tickets will go on sale in January 2022 for the event, whose guest list includes a slew of 2000AD creators and more, including John Wagner, John Higgins, Mick McMahon and Glenn Fabry.
Inspired by 2000AD and Judge Dredd, Lawless has been a popular annual event for some time, moving online in response to the COVID pandemic earlier this year, the last physical event taking place in 2019.
Organiser Su Haddrell first confirmed plans for a two-day physical event at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel late last year.
“We are expanding to a two day show over the weekend at the Doubletree by Hilton, Bristol,” she informed fans. “We’re going bigger than ever, expanding our guest list, working with up and coming comics like The77 and Rok Of The Reds, bringing in more small press, and hoping you guys will be there every step of the way.”
Promising the 2022 event will be “insane”, judging by enthused reaction to the guest list and confirmation Lawless is very definitely back as a physical gathering, we strongly suspect both its creative team and attendees are determined to live up to that claim!
