Kids have revealed their predictions for the winners of the BRIT Awards 2019 in new research by Beano.com – and Dennis artist Nigel Parkinson has Beano-fied some of the music stars, including George Ezra, Ariana Grande and Little Mix!
A poll on Beano.com of 1,500 children revealed that George Ezra, Anne-Marie and Little Mix are favourites to win some of the top awards at the prestigious music event taking place tomorrow, 20th February 2019 at The O2, London.

George Ezra leads the predictions as voted for by kids to take home two awards on the night. Over half (52%) named George as the winner of British Male Solo Artist over Sam Smith, Craig David and Giggs. A quarter of children (25%) voted for him to win British Single for his chart-topping song “Shotgun”, beating other hit-makers such as Anne-Marie, Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris.

Almost half of the kids polled (45%) chose “2002” and “FRIENDS” singer Anne-Marie as the artist to claim the 2019 award for British Female Solo Artist, beating competition from Lily Allen, Florence + the Machine, Jess Glynne and Jorja Smith.

61% of kids expect Little Mix, who are performing on the night, to take home the BRIT award for British Group.

Ariana Grande, who is also currently Number 1 in the Official Charts for her track “7 Rings”, was selected as the likely recipient of the award for International Female Solo Artist by over half (58%) of the children polled; beating GRAMMY-award winning rapper Cardi B in the vote by over 20%.

Canadian singer Shawn Mendes, who has been nominated for the first time, was voted by 48% of kids to win International Solo Artist over previous winners Drake and Eminem.
The predicted winners have all been treated to a special Beano makeover and reimagined as characters in the style of the comic by Beano artist Nigel Parkinson to celebrate the upcoming awards.
