Heroes don’t get any bigger with the new trailer for Marvel’s Ant-Man, which debuts in the UK on Friday 17th July, the same weekend as the London Film and Comic Con. (I’ve been delaying posting this in the hope that my LFCC contacts will respond to my emails about whether they have any Ant-Man related guests, to no avail, as yet).
Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (played by Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
The film – the twelfth to form part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, directed by Peyton Reed – also stars Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, daughter of Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne and Corey Stoll as the villainous Yellowjacket.
