The first show in MCM Expo’s packed 2014 schedule, Midlands Comic Con will be celebrating the start of the convention year in style with a host of attractions ranging from movie star special guests to the battling ‘bots of Robots Live, from the talented comic artists and writers of their Comic Village to the colourful Cosplay Masquerade.

Artists Lee Townsend and Laura Howell are among the comics guests announced for the event so far. The first guest to be announced for the show is top anime voice actor Vic Mignogna.

Making his debut appearance at the MCM Midlands Comic Con, the multi-talented Vic is best known for playing Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist – a role which garnered him an American Anime Award for Best Actor – as well as Ikkaku Madarame in Bleach and Broly in Dragon Ball Z.
