New Comics Rule OK out now

The second issue of Comics Rule OK is now available, offering another eclectic take on British comics from a great lineup of writers, published by The Long River Company.

Edited by Justin Marriott, available in print exclusively through Amazon, this 56-page features an interview with publisher Dez Skinn about his groundbreaking anthology title Warrior, launched back in 1982 and still fondly remembered, particularly for its revival of Marvelman, renamed Miracleman when first republished in the United States; “V for Vendetta”, created by Alan Moore and David Lloyd; and “The Bojeffies Saga”, created by Moore and Steve Parkhouse.

First published in 1970, this bloodthirsty adventure was set in Norman England after Harold’s defeat at Hastings. The hooded Saxon hero of the title fought against the invaders by using skills including magic tricks and archery.
