Artist Blair D. Shedd has revealed his variant for the first issue of Titan Comics upcoming Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor mini series, to launch in March, written by Cavan Scott.

“Alice X. Zhang is doing the ‘A’ (primary) cover for Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor #1 and #2,” says Blair. “The ‘B’ covers are photo covers, and I’m on the ‘C’ covers (but for 3-5, I’ll be on ‘A’).”

Blair’s “C” cover #1 features the Doctor, Rose, and Jack.

As we previously reported, the story sees the Ninth Doctor leaving World War Two behind, But he, Rose and Captain Jack discover that Time Lord technology, lost in the wake of the Time War, is being sold on the intergalactic black market!

Now the threat of a new temporal war brews on the horizon. Can the Doctor stop history repeating itself?

“Cavan and I are gonna kill it on this series,” enthuses Blair. “t least, that’s the plan!”
