Here are the covers for Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor Year Two #8, written by George Mann, drawn by Mariano Laclaustra, on sale 29th June 2016 from Titan Comics.
This issues’s main cover is by American artist Mark Wheatley, who holds the Eisner, Inkpot, Mucker, Gem and Speakeasy awards and nominations for the Harvey award and the Ignatz award and whose “Return of the Human” strip features in David Lloyd’s digital anthology Aces Weekly.
His work has been repeatedly included in the annual Spectrum selection of fantastic art and has appeared in private gallery shows and museums, including The Norman Rockwell Museum and the US Library of Congress where several of his originals are in the LoC permanent collection. He has designed for Lady Gaga, created set pieces for The Black Eyed Peas, contributed designs to ABC’s Beauty and the Beast and the hit CBS comedy The Millers. His work recently featured in an episode of the comedy show 2 Broke Girls, (see news story).
His interpretations of established characters such as Tarzan, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Jonny Quest, Doctor Strange, The Flash, Captain Action, Argus and The Spider have brought them to life for a new generation of readers.

He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
