A quick apology to followers downthetubes using the WordPress “Reader” service who will be bemused by the sudden publication of a large number of very old posts today, including items on Eagle Times and Alan Grant and Cam Kennedy’s 2007 Kidnapped graphic novel.
Although I’d switched off all the “social sharing” buttons while preparing the posts, I’d forgotten WordPress automatically posts “new” posts to those who have signed up by email to follow the blog.
I still have a large number of features and news items to transfer from the older HTML version of downthetubes, which I’ve been doing when I get chance.
I do apologise for clogging up your inboxes. I think I’ve worked out a way to tackle this problem so you won’t get bombarded again.
