Sky have kindly sent us some images from the first two recently aired images of XIII, based on the graphic novel series of the same name Jeremy Briggs has enthusiastically reviewed here for some time. Episode 3 airs this week on Wednesday on Sky2.
In the first episode, Stuart Townsend is XIII a CIA agent tries to unlock the mystery of his identity after losing his memory – and must keep at bay the government agents trying to kill him for what he knows.
In Episode 2 – Green Falls – XIII visits a small town from his youth, where he learns his boyhood name and determines to solve the murder of the father he never knew.
Episode 3 – Lockdown – airs this Wednesday at 10.00pm (repeated Saturday at 11.00pm)
XIII stars Stuart Townsend as XIII and Aisha Tyler as Major Lauren Jones, with Virginie Ledoyen as Irina Svletanova, Greg Bryk as Amos, Paulino Nunes as Giordino, Ted Atherton as Sheridan, Stephen McHattie as President Carrington, Caterina Murino as Sam and Tom Berengeras Gerhardt.
Unfortunately, the series isn’t available on CatchUp or On Demand as Sky don’t have the rights for that. But the series continues on Sky2 over 13 episodes through April and May.

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
