Zoom Rockman heads to Lakes International Comic Art Festival

Zoom Rockman

Talented 14-year-old comic creator Zoom Rockman, the award-winning teenager who has been publishing his own humour title – The Zoom – since the age of nine, with 10 biannual issues under his belt, is to be another guest at the Lakes International Comic Art Festival in Kendal in October.

Among other things, he’ll be doing  comic workshops and DJing  a Black Hook Press-backed  gig over the weekend. (Black Hook Press is a blogger, publisher, and organiser, based in Yokohama, Japan).

The Zoom features satirical strips looking at modern culture and life in London as well as reoccurring characters such as Skanky Pigeon who has also appeared in The Beano. The comic has attracted plenty of press interest and acclaim from a huge range of comic critics.
