London’s House of Illustration is working with auction house Christie’s to offer fans of artist Quentin Blake a unique opportunity to bid for original artwork by the UK’s most celebrated illustrator.
200 works from Quentin Blake’s studio will go under the virtual hammer from 2nd to 16th December. Viewing of all 200 works will open online on 24th November 2020.
Selected by the artist himself, these recent works include drawings for books and designs for installations – all in Sir Quentin’s inimitable style.
All funds raised will support House of Illustration’s ongoing projects, including creative resources for schools and families and the development of our future home, the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration.
