British Comic Shop Comic Releases (16th July 2014), including Judge Dredd Megazine 350!

Judge Dredd Megazine 350

Here’s a list of comics – both US and UK releases – on sale today in specialist UK comic shops, Wednesday 16th July 2014, courtesy First Age Comics, Lancaster. We’ve picked out the titles published by British publishers in bold below, or titles with a British connection we’re aware of.

Releases include the first Miracleman Hard Cover collection from Marvel and, most importantly, Judge Dredd Megazine Issue 350 featuring a cover by Brian Bolland. Print copies of this come with an A3 poster of Bolland’s rogue’s gallery showing some of the nefarious faces Dredd has faced down over the past 23 years to celebrate this milestone.

Inside there are three new Dredd-world stories, including John Wagner and Henry Flint’s ‘Dead Zone’, Dan Abnett and Phil Winslade on ‘Lawless’, and Arthur Wyatt and Paul Davidson’s follow-up to the sell-out comic book sequel to the DREDD movie. Plus Gordon Rennie and Kev Hopgood’s “The Man From The Ministry” continues and the issue also features interviews with Trevor Hairsine, Leah Moore, Kev Hopgood, and John Reppion!

Judge Dredd Megazine 350 is also available worldwide day-and-date DRM-free digital on Wednesday through the 2000AD webshop or the 2000AD iPad app.

The release list below features mainly US titles from Marvel Comics, DC Comics, IDW, Image Comics and other publishers, including Trade Paperbacks. We’re not including merchandise releases in these news items.
