Comics writer and editor Alan Cowsill talks to artist Lalit Kumar Sharma in the latest edition of his Last Geek in Space podcast, one of India’s leading comic book artists.
Alan started his podcast Last Geek in Space a few months ago, chatting to various comic creators about their work and favourite pages of artwork. It usually has a heavy Marvel UK slant, where Alan worked in the 1990s. However, he’s widened its scope with this interview, a great opportunity to learn a bit about the Indian comic book scene, chatting with the talented artist he worked with on the award-winning World War One graphic novel from top Indian comics publisher Campfire.
Lalit’s books include Daredevil, working with Chip Zdarsky, Planet of the Apes, Firefly and Nagraj – India’s leading super hero.

Lalit selects the artwork and comics that’s inspired him and talks about his career – one that’s resulted him being the first Indian comic artist to work for Marvel and DC Comics, and includes projects for BOOM! Studios and Dark Horse.
