Just one of the astonishing visuals in the Doctor Who strip “The Crimson Hand”, written by Dan McDaid, drawn by Martin Geraghty (pencils) and David A. Roach (inks)
Episode 58 of Doctor Who: Panel to Panel is available for download, so grab your copy of The Crimson Hand graphic novel and flip through it as host Jeremy Bement chats with comic creator Dan McDaid about his run on the strip.
Dan should need no introduction to downthetubes readers of course, given his numerous credits such as Judge Dredd, Planet of the Apes and Flash Gordon – as well as Doctor Who. He’s currently working with writer Patrick Keller on an original graphic novel for US publisher Oni Press, a sci-fi comedy called Time Share, which will be published in January 2017.
Jeremy also reviews Supremacy of the Cybermen #1 from Titan Comics, the 1990 comic strip “Train-Flight” (one of the first strips I edited for Doctor Who Magazine, by the way, written by Andrew Donkin, now a top children’s author, and the late Graham S. Brand , a creator whose life was cut tragically short, drawn by the wonderful John Ridgway).
There’s Doctor Who comics news, too – well worth a listen.
