Still time to sign up for massive auction offering Gerry Anderson and Star Wars toys today

You may still have time to register to bid on today’s Vintage & Collectible Toys Online Auction being run by Kent-based C & T Auctioneers and Valuers Ltd., but you’d better hurry, because the sale begins at 10.30!

Alongside a huge range of tin toys and soldiers, there’s also plenty of boxed Star Wars merchandise on offer, and for Gerry Anderson fans, a number of terrific vintage boxed vehicles, including FAB 1, Thunderbird 2 and the Captain Scarlet Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle.

Vintage Kenner Boxed Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back Millennium Falcon Space Ship, Cat. No. 39110 circa 1981, complete with the Jedi Training ball, game table, quad laser cannon, battery cover, radar, cockpit, canopy struts, and removable top plate, in excellent original condition, (decals have been applied) original instruction leaflet, battle alert sound is working. Complete in its original “The Empire Strikes Back” Kenner box, in good original condition, some edge/age wear, no inner card packing.

Dinky Toys Boxed 100 Lady Penelope’s FAB 1 From TV series ‘Thunderbirds’ pink body, early issue with pink flashes on plastic sliding roof, domed detailed wheel hubs, with Lady Penelope and Parker figures ‘FAB 1’ complete with paper number plate to front only and flying lady motif, in mint original condition, some tarnish to chrome plating (usual on this model) complete with four rear harpoons & one rocket. Original inner card display box is excellent, outer illustrated box is in excellent bright condition, small 15mm tear to one inner tab, still a very nice example of this popular model

Dinky Toys Boxed 101 Thunderbirds 2 & 4 Straight From TV series ‘Thunderbirds’ 1st issue dark green body, red rear thrusters, yellow legs, detachable pod containing Thunderbird 2, in near mint original condition, inner card illustrated stand with outer illustrated box, is in near mint original condition, vintage French franc price label to one end flap, complete with 23.101 French leaflet, missing inner card packing, but still very difficult to find in this condition, a very nice example

Dinky Toys Boxed 104 Spectrum Pursuit vehicle direct from Captain Scarlet And The Mysterons , metallic blue body, white front bumper, front hatch opens to fire rocket, side hatch opens and seat automatically lowers Capt. Scarlet to ground, rear track unit can be raised and lowered, twin aerials fold down. One rocket and instructions, in near mint original condition, inner card illustrated stand is excellent, has some tiny tears and rubbings to base of box where model sits, with outer illustrated box, in near mint original condition

Corgi Toys 261 James Bond Aston Martin D.B.5 from the Film “Goldfinger” gold body, with ejector seat, rear bullet screen, retractable machine guns, model is in fair to good used original condition, with original outer illustrated box only, with end flaps in fair to good original condition, some edge/age wear and unboxed Husky James Bond Aston Martin D.B.5, with ejector seat, missing bandit figure.(3 items)

Vintage Corgi Toys 266 "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" complete with "Caractacus Potts, Truly Scrumptious, Jeremy and Jemima" figures, gold/chrome/bronze body, model is in mint original condition, with back and front wings, including inner plastic cloud, card cloud display, original outer blue and yellow illustrated window box is good, with some edge/age wear/tears.

Boxed Corgi Toys 1st issue 267 Rocket Firing Batmobile with Batman and Robin, gloss black, red bat hubs, blue tinted windscreens, with original "Batman & Robin" figures, working pulsating exhaust flame, in very good to excellent original condition, including a good original inner illustrated card stand, with some age/edge wear, instruction envelope, instruction leaflet, 6 orange missiles, early features leaflet, plus black plastic hook attachment for Batboat. Missing cloth lapel badge, original outer blue and yellow carded picture box is in good original condition, complete with all end flaps, with some age/edge wear, 17/11 in pencil to one picture side.

The Dan Dare Space Ship Builder Set, based on the strip created by Frank Hampson, manufactured by A.& M. Bartram A modern toy ‘Build your own space ships and jet jeeps’ metal tin plate construction parts and accessories in mint unused condition, still attached to backing card, with space toys blue prints catalogue, in a near mint original illustrated lidded box, an excellent example of this scarce set.

He’s the writer of "Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies" for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
