The latest auction from The Comic Collector run by Willoughby Hurrell includes a number of early issues of 2000AD, including Prog One, Doctor Who annuals, and a copy of the Doctor Who Cookbook, Gerry Anderson-related annuals and more.

One highlight for Dan Dare fans might be a copy of Eagle and Wildcat published in June 1989, including its free “Dan Dare” gift – a game featuring art from the original Eagle in the illustrations. There’s also a copy of the preview SuperNaturals comic, a short-lived licensed tie-in title published by Fleetway.

Here’s just a few items from the auction, which also includes some US comics.

The Comic Collector specialises in vintage British comics, from the obvious BeanoDandy and 2000AD to the lesser known BulletNutty and Magic.

The auctions each start with a 99p start bid and no reserve.

Offering a range of British comic items on a regular basis, we’re told the company will do deals on some items, and they are interested in buying all pre-millennium comics and comic related ephemera, single issues or complete collections.
