Britain’s Titan Comics will be announcing brand-new comics and collections at New York Comic Con, along with hosting several panels and unmissable signings.
The next wave of publications features special advanced copies of classic fantasy epic Marada The She-Wolf by Chris Claremont (The Uncanny X-Men, Fantastic Four) and John Bolton (Man-Bat, Shame: Pursuit, Books of Magic). This is the first time anywhere in the world that fans can get their hands on this incredible new collection.
Also making its worldwide debut: the superb Death Sentence by writer Monty Nero and artist Mike Dowling (2000AD, Rex Royd) – a fantastic take on superpowers that is getting a lot of deserved acclaim from many quarters.
Comics legend Jim Steranko will join Dave Elliott on the Titan booth on Saturday, signing an NYCC exclusive A1 Annual print limited to 300 copies, the proceeds of which go to the Heroes Initiative.
Brit comics superstar Si Spurrier will also be joining Titan on booth #2142 to sign his critical smash hit Numbercruncher.
Spurrier joins writers Chris Claremont, Dave Elliott, Monty Nero and Titan senior editor Steve White onstage for the panel Titan Comics: The New Wave on Sunday October 13 3.45pm – 4.45pm, giving attendees a behind-the-scenes look at their titles, coupled with exclusive announcements about brand-new and original comics by new and world-renowned talent!

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
