Upcoming Anderson & Garland Comics Auction offers massive range of British and US comic rarities

North-east based auction house Anderson & Garland is hosting a massive Comics Auction including both British and US comics, and original comic art later this month, including of rare first issues, rare girls comics and much more.

Many of the comics and artworks offered are from the archives of longtime collector Peter Hansen, now, sadly, being broken up, despite his many attempts to save them for the nation.

Taking place on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th September 2022, the enormous catalogue, features over one thousand lots, including runs of 2000AD, War Picture Library cover art, Eagle, TV Century 21, early issues of VIZ, Marvel UK titles, DC and Marvel Comics, and an incredible range of independent US titles, too.

Do note that you need to register with the site to bid.

Established in 1840, Anderson & Garland is the leading firm of Auctioneers and Valuers in the North of England and Scottish Borders, and one of the largest independent auction houses in the UK .
