Isle of Wight-based Vectis Auctions has announced that part of its upcoming sale of the Chris Freeman Meccano & Vintage Toy Collection will feature a large selection of both original Dan Dare and Eagle collectables from the 1950s, and modern items, too.
The sale is on Thursday 23rd April 2020 and has been trailed by the auction house on YouTube.
downthetubes contributor Richard Sheaf notes there are a lot of rare items in the sale, and look like they are in great condition.
Items include Dan Dare-inspired toy guns, books, bound and single copies of Eagle, spin-off Eagle model kits and much more.
Vectis typically releases auction catalogues two weeks before a sale. Do note that at present, there is no public access to auctions due to the Coronavirus Pandemic; all bidding will be online.
