Secret agent Velicity Jones is back in the digital anthology Aces Weekly (Volume 41) – and her third adventure from writer Lee Robson and artist Bryan Coyle is a visual treat as this creative duo deliver another cracking action adventure, lettered by Dave “Bolt-01” Evans.
“The Silent Forest” appears exclusively in Aces Weekly volume 41, which launched on 26th August, running for seven weeks.
When world renowned scientists begin disappearing, it appears the Scottish laird Jamie Ashpool is making his long held dream of creating a commune dedicated purely to unencumbered scientific research finally come true.
But when experimental sonic weapons are traced back to the commune, the world’s greatest secret agent, Velicity Jones, is assigned to investigate – but soon discovers the horrifying true purpose behind Ashpool’s dream…
We’ve had a sneak peek at the first three episodes now, thanks to the team rather than some espionage on our part – and the story looks great! Another reason your should subscribe to Aces Weekly – today!
• A subscription to Aces Weekly will cost you £6.99 – or £1 a week
• Back Volumes are available here: if you want to read previous Velicity Jones adventures, you’ll also need to buy Aces Weekly Volume 29 to read “The Devil’s Breath”, and Volume 37 for “The Godcutter Affair”
