This week’s thrill-filled 2000AD, Prog 2482, featuring a striking cover from D’Israeli, certainly helps promote the latest episode of “Helium“, written by Ian Edginton, and the award-nominated “Silver” continues this issue.

Two Thrills come to a close this week, as Judge Dredd faces “Crossed Lines” in the line of duty; and the search for the elusive Poster Girl comes to a close in “Tharg’s 3rillers“.
“Brink“, “Helium” and “Silver” all continue, and congratulations are surely in order for the team on the latter, as the strip has been nominated in the Best Comic Book or Graphic Novel category for the 2026 Achievements Awards by the European Science Fiction Society.
“I’m a little stunned and not a little delighted”, says writer Michael Carroll, to which we say, “Why?”, and if you need to ask, then grab the latest 2000AD – or the Silver – Unearthed collection, released by Rebellion late last year – and find out!
Silver Book One: “Unearthed” ran in 2000AD from Prog 2390 to 2399 (July – September 2024). Book Two: “Perfidious” ran from Prog 2427 to 2436 (April – June 2025), and Book 3: “Malignant” is running in the latest issues of 2000AD – and Book 4 is in production.
The Forgotten Man!
Next week, prepare for something very different: “The Oubliette” has finally arrived!
This Judge Dredd Mega-Epic storyline will run for the next few months, and sees the Lawman of the Future trapped in a supernatural hell-prison with no escape. And while he’s gone? Mega-City One have forgotten his existence! So complete is the trap: readers will be able to find out how the city reacts in “The Black Tower“, running concurrently in Judge Dredd Megazine each month.
Who will survive “The Oubliette” and “The Black Tower”? Find out as this major Dredd event begins!
