Groundbreaking comic creator Andrew Wildman’s Kickstarter campaign for his latest project, OXYGEN, which closes this Sunday, has now reached its first stretch goal.
This means that an additional free art print will be included in all physical tiers, for those backing the project, which follows on the success of HORIZON and is a second ‘transformational’ project by comic and storyboard artist, Andrew Wildman.

In OXYGEN, an astronaut finds himself marooned on a strange barren planet. His thoughts are muddled and his memories non-existent. His only companion is an A.I. drone who seems to be guiding him somewhere, but is giving nothing away.
Where is he going? What is the mission? And what is the shattering destination that his A.I. companion is leading him towards?

“It’s amazing to get to this point and with just a couple of days to go before the campaign ends on Sunday 1st October,” says Andrew.
“The end date has been chosen to coincide with the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. I will be there signing and selling and talking to attendees about the OXYGEN project. Hopefully I will see some of you there.”
This SF epic looks a treat! The crowdfunder closes on Sunday, so don’t miss out.
For as long as long as he can remember, Andrew Wildman have been drawing. “And, with determination and hard work I became one of the lucky ones who managed to make a living as an artist,” he says.

“I have had the distinct pleasure of working in Comics, Games and TV on some amazing projects. Some of those were childhood dreams come true such as drawing Spider-man, and X-Men comics for Marvel as well as a number of their other books. I have also had the distinct honour of being a significant part of the Transformers universe with many comics and art projects along with appearances at conventions all over the world.
“The years illustrating comics were followed by Concept Design work for a couple of games studios. In more recent years I have been working as a Storyboard Artist on many live action shows including Doctor Who and Luther for the BBC and The Alienist, The Innocents and INVASION for Netflix, as well as working as a Production Designer and Storyboard Artist for TV on children’s animated shows like Ruff-Ruff, Tweet & Dave and Matt Hatter Chronicles.
Andrew was also co-creator and designer of the the show Shane the Chef , and has enjoyed many engagements as a lecturer and speaker at schools and universities.
