Good news, Squaxx dek Thargo! We get a new 2000AD this week, despite concerns the shutdown of its printer might mean a week’s delay to release of the print edition of Prog 2498, which includes the launch of an all-new, one-off “Rogue Trooper” tale.

Following the news that 2000AD and Judge Dredd Megazine’s printer, Telford based Precision Colour Printing, had entered administration, Tharg’s droids have worked tirelessly to find alternative printing facilities and maintain the flow of Thrill-power.

Rebellion has announced that there will now be no delay with newsstand editions of 2000AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine – those sold through newsagents and Local Comic Shops. 2000AD Prog 2498 will be on shelves this week and future issues will be released as scheduled.

“We are still working to ensure that our loyal 2000AD subscribers get their issues,” Rebellion said in a short statement, “and there may be some delays with copies arriving by post, but we are doing everything possible to minimise any disruption. Digital subscriptions will not be affected by any delays.

“We thank everyone for their patience and messages of support over what has been a very difficult few days.”
