Fighting Fantasy Fest returns to Ealing for the largest dedicated Fighting Fantasy convention yet in September 2017, featuring Guests of Honour Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone, as well as a host of other guests.

Fighting Fantasy Fest 2 will feature talks, gaming sessions, comics, signings, a Fighting Fantasy exhibition, and a trading hall, as well as a cosplay competition.

Entry is by pre-paid ticket only and price of entry includes a collectable programme and autograph book. There are 200 Early Bird Adult Tickets available at a cost of £35 each. (Once these have sold out, the price of entry will rise to £45.) There are also 50 Child Tickets on sale at £20 each. (Please note that children must be under 14 years of age on Saturday 2nd September 2017 and must be accompanied by a paying adult ticket-holder.)

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Star Trek Explorer (previously known as Star Trek Magazine) and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War and “Dan Dare”. He’s the writer of "Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies" for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
