Are you a fan of the creator-owned, award-winning, best-selling comic series Black Hammer, published by Dark Horse? Then you may be interested to know Jeff Lemire and Dean Ormston, its creators, have chosen to launch the Black Hammer range of licensed apparel products, working in partnership with Teemill.

20 designs have been released so far, featuring art from issues 1-5 – and Teemill are currently working on apparel utilising art from issues 6-10.
Black Hammer and its sequel, Black Hammer: Age of Doom tell the core story of the group of misfit super heroes: Golden Age crime buster Abraham Slam, interstellar adventurer Col. Weird and his robot sidekick Talky-Walky, Barbalien, warlord from Mars, Golden Gail, America’s super-sweetheart, Madame Dragonfly, mistress of the macabre, and Black Hammer, invincible champion of the streets.
These heroes have been wiped out of their super hero universe, then wake up on a mysterious farm in a sleepy small town and have to try and blend in and hide their identities, living as a bizarre and dysfunctional surrogate family. All the while they are trying to uncover the mysteries of where they are and how to get back home…
A huge hit as a comic, published in 19 languages worldwide, with a film and television development deal with Legendary Entertainment announced last year.
All the Black Hammer apparel from Teemill is made with 100% organic cotton and printed in a renewable energy-powered factory.
Teemill also provide a code with each purchase – so once your T-shirt has reached the end of its life, scan the code and send the item back to be repurposed for future clothing and receive a £5 store credit. This means there’s no waste – all products are designed to be re-manufactured over and over again.
The apparel range is the result of a licensing deal brokered by British agency Reemsborko Ltd, the worldwide licensing agent in all categories for this property.
