As we enter into another UK lockdown, the Lakes International Comic Art Festival Podcast brings back Mike Williams and Pete Taylor, having a good old chat with comic creator Gustavo Vargas.
Gustavo, who is best known for his Peruvian cyber punk comics, currently has PUNO live on Kickstarter – with just under 48 hours to go to back it – and chats to Mike and Pete about this comic, and what influences his work.
Tom Stewart is back this episode, recording whilst walking and discussing the comic Holly by Steven Ingram.
Meanwhile podcast hosts Ian Loxam and Nikki Bates have a chat too, including discussions on the comics Murder Volume 1 by John Tucker, Haru Part 2 by Joe Latham, Biscuits Assorted by Jenny Robins and the first Marvel Warhammer 40k comic, Marneus Calgar by Keiron Gillen and Jacen Burrows.
They also have a look at what Thought Bubble has coming up for their online comic convention taking place on the 14th and 15th November.
