Double thrills this week from Tharg, with the release of 2000AD Prog 2433, featuring a cover by Colin MacNeil and Judge Dredd Megazine Issue 480, with a spore-tastic painted cover from Boo Cook.

This week’s edition of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic kicks off with a new one-off “Judge Dredd” by Geoffrey D. Wessel and Rob Richardson, telling a story about generational crime in Mega-City One. Meanwhile, the Norts arrive on the horizon to threaten “Rogue Trooper”, whilst the threats heat up in both “Silver” and “Ghosted”. Add “Scarlet Traces” to the mix, and you’ve got a full complement of thrills to keep your spirits high this May!
Meanwhile, Judge Dredd Megazine 480 features the fungal finale of “Death Cap” and “Armitage”, and the authorities step in for the latest part of “Atomfall”, the prequel to Rebellion’s smash hit new game. Galactic pirates Barrel & Hammer continue to cause chaos across the galaxy, while Rok of the Reds gets into trouble of his own on Earth. Oh, and Judge Dredd fights a garbage crusher. All in a day’s work for the Lawman of the Future!
If you fancy checking out Boo Cook’s original cover art for this issue, he tells us he’s taking it to Lawless this weekend (note tickets for this event are not available on the door).
