Eaglemoss launches Gerry Anderson Vintage Comic Collection

eaglemoss-complete-andersonPart works publisher Eaglemoss has just launched the Gerry Anderson Vintage Comic Collection, which will not only features classic comic strips from TV Century 21 and Countdown but new features and art by ace artist Lee Sullivan, who’s perhaps best known for his work on Doctor Who and Robocop. He also drew Thunderbirds strips for Redan’s eponymous comic, which was aimed at a young audience.

Lee also provides cover art for this fine-looking fine partwork collection of the various Anderson TV21 strips which will include three or more strips per issue plus cut new cutaways of key craft and newly originated in-depth features by industry experts to “give you a deeper understanding of the Gerry Anderson worlds”.

Strips scheduled to feature include Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, Space: 1999, UFO and more. We can’t tell from the small image on the web site if the Space: 1999 stories planned are from Look-In or the US comic based on the series.

Subscribers will receive four free gifts including access to a digital edition of the title and a Stingray model. If you subscribe to the title, for just £1 extra per issue you have the exclusive opportunity to upgrade to a premium subscription, and receive two limited edition die-cast models – the Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle and Thunderbird 2.

  1. I don’t know if it was Lee Sullivan who coloured the bw pages of Bellamy art but whoever it was should be congratulated as, from the few low res pages on the site, they seem to be coloured exactly the way I think Bellamy would have coloured them
