Episode #162 of Jeremy Bement‘s ever-informative Doctor Who: Panel to Panel is live, this episode spotlighting artist Russ Leach.
Russ recently returned to the pages of Doctor Who Magazine providing art on “Four Hours of Doom’s Day“, and Jeremy catches up with him, plus brings us some comics news, and reviews a couple of archive stories.
Featured in Doctor Who Magazine Issue 592, copies still available from Panini direct, the story is part of this year’s Doctor Who multimedia crossover “Doom’s Day“, which centres on a deadly assassin on a quest to find the Doctor.

Be warned that the story is pretty bewildering, which is a bit of a shame as the whole crossover concept is a terrific idea. I’d advise reading the opening short story, Doom’s Day: Hour One on the official Doctor Who site.
You’ll find the next chapter in the pages of Doctor Who: Doom’s Day #1 from Titan Comics, out this Wednesday, 5th July, with Missy crossing swords with the assassin.
