Comic creator Luke Surl – creator of the web comic lukesurl.com, which has been running since 2008 – has set up a mailing list, ComicShowTables, that will email you every time a con in the UK opens for booking!
He’s asked every con organiser he could track down to email this list when bookings for their shows open, so hopefully subscribing to this list means you’ll never miss out on a booking window again!
This should also be useful if you’ve lost track of all the dozens of shows that occur nationwide across the UK each year. (We’re more than happy to add events to our own events list!)
Luke says messages will be moderated to avoid duplication, spam and irrelevant posts and events such as Comic Village, Thought Bubble and several smaller cons have confirmed with Luke they’ll post to the list when their bookings open.
If you organise a con and haven’t been contacted about this list, you can still use the service, the very simple instructions are on the page.
