Zarjaz 26 - Cover

Creators: Various:
Publisher: Future Quake Press
Out: Now

The Comic: Out now from Future Quake Press is the Zarjaz Issue 26, featuring cover art by Paul Marshall, coloured by Owen Watts. Within the pages of Zarjaz 26, Peeps the droids smuggles six tales from the sub-sub basement of the Nerve Centre!

The Review: It’s another great issue of the  the fab 2000AD-inspired comic zine with six smashing strips on offer. My favourites this time around have to be “Judge Dredd – Billion Credit Heist”, written by Karl Stock, which features some astonishing art by artist Jon Taylor and “Tales Of Mega-City One – A Day In The Life” by writer Santiago Mayaud with more terrific art from a Zarjaz stalwart, Conor Boyle – one of my favourite artists on this book.

But while everyone will have favourites in an anthology title, all round this is another great issue – and I particularly liked the script on “Brigand Doom – Paper Cubs” from writer Mark Howard, well-realised by artist Alexander Mines.

Offering 44 pages of great 2000AD-inspired comics action for just £3.00  Zarjaz Issue 26 is on sale from the online FutureQuake Store and from FutureQuake direct at many conventions around the UK – check their blog for appearance information. Money well spent in my book, Earthlets!
