Beano Studios have announced a 52-episode second series of the hit animated TV show Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed! has been ordered for CBBC.

The announcement follows the successful launch of the International Emmy nominated kid’s CGI show, which was the highest rated animated show on CBBC at launch for 6-12-year-olds and a top 10 show for kids across all channels, (including The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing) in 2017.

The second series is comprised of 52 x 11min episodes and stars Beano’s irrepressible hero Dennis (voiced by Freddie Fox) and his amazing group of fearless mates. Dennis and his best friend Gnasher are joined by Rubi, JJ, Pieface and his pet potato Paul. Together, they cook up crazy plans, get in all sorts of scrapes and take on every challenge – no matter how big.

Following its successful UK debut, the show has since been sold to 24 countries and airs on free-to-air public service broadcasters such as Super RTL in Germany, Rai in Italy and France Télévision.
