This Doctor Who montage art by Russ Leach is the top prize in the Hull Comic Con 2016 charity raffle.
Following on from a very successful event last year, Hull Comic Con is back on Saturday 18th June 2016, and will be a much bigger event, taking over over all three floors of its venue, the Hull University Union building.
The expansion enables organisers to bring fans “more of everything we had last year, plus loads of new things to see and do as well as more to keep the kids occupied.
“Taking all three floors gives us a a huge amount of space, a variety of different rooms and spaces and the ability to provide a dedicated area and facilities for the cosplayers who bring the event to life,” they say.
Along with special guests from TV and film (including Doctor Who‘s Sophie Aldred), Hull Comic Con features a number of comic artists including Rachael Smith, Lee Sullivan and Russ Leach and the Something Entirely Different Hull Comic Collective – and authors such as A.S. Chambers.
“I’ll be signing and selling posters and A4 commissions as well as having the honour of being on a panel about Doctor Who comic strip,” Russ tells us. His Doctor Who montage canvas, above, is also a top prize for the event’s charity raffle.
