2018 is not yet out but the levels of Thrill-power for 2019 are already building with a blistering line-up of graphic novels from 2000AD and The Treasury of British Comics.
We’ve already trailed some of the 2019 books here on downthetubes, but now we have an official list direct from Rebellion HQ – and there are plenty of treats in store.
From sumptuous hardcover art books to digest editions of popular classics, there’s something for every taste and pocket over the next 12 months, with collections drawing on 2000AD’s rich heritage and modern classics as well as the vast comics archive of publishing giant IPC, recently acquired by Rebellion.
Highlights include the collection of the critically-acclaimed Judge Dredd story “The Small House” by Rob Williams and Henry Flint; the first two collections – Turbo Jones and Loner – from the 1980s crossover comic Wildcat; the (mis)adventures of disfigured stuntman Blake Edmonds in Deathwish; high-tech identity theft in Counterfeit Girl; and there’s more from the master of the comedically macabre, Ken Reid, with the complete Worldwide Weirdies.
This list doesn’t include the Roy of the Rovers titles, suggesting they’re being treated, perhaps, as a separate strand of publications.
One update on previously mentioned titles: Rebellion tell us pages of “Billy’s Boots” have been a challenge to scan and clean. All of the original plates seem to have moved so the colour has bled over the art during the printing of the copies the publisher holds, so Rebellion have pushed release of the fist collection back into 2020.
Titles from 2000AD and The Treasury of British Comics are available from all good book and comic book stores, as well as from online retailers and 2000AD’s online shop.
If you prefer digital then all titles will be available from 2000AD and The Treasury of British Comics’ online shops, as well as the 2000AD apps for Apple, Android, and Windows 10 devices.

Would love to see the frozen summer serial from 1960s Buster comic.. Missed the final episodes as a kid,
and waited over 50 years to see ending.
It would be great to see a whole collection of the Spinball series in Action comic, and Dredger, and Helman of Hammer Force
