The latest volume of digital anthology Aces Weekly draws to a close this week, with plenty of bangs, not a whimper! (Oh, all right – we can see Dr Strange-Glove whimpering, after what happens in that humour strip, but he’s the only one whingeing).

Volume 63 has featured a terrific set of strips, yours for just £1 per week, in any currency, if you subscribe now.
This volume’s now-completed lineup offers the aforementioned, delightfully barmy “Dr Strange-Glove” by Phil Whitmore, Bambos Georgiou, and Mychailo Kazybrid; a mystical journey through time and space continues in “Lazarus” by Paco Vilchez Barea; enjoy a strange new world of wonder from Fer Calvi, the creator of “Living The Dream”, in “The Unsuspecting Saviour“; Tobias continues his indomitable progress through a challenging world in “Black“, by
Tobias Taitt and Anthony Smith; and we learn more of Stoker’s story in the beautifully-realised “Outpost Z“, by Pablo Barbieri and Jose Luis Gabotto.
Plus, continued from Volume 60 in “Sicaros” by Roberto Corroto and Ertito Montana, Phil and Riot Girl are taking the next step in a mission they’ve been blackmailed into taking. But what will the next step lead to and can they trust who’s leading them?
If you enjoy this story, other “Sicaros” adventures featured in Aces Weekly Volumes 14,19, 23, 27, 31, 37 and 59 and 60, available to buy separately here, if you haven’t subscribed before.
A subscription that gets you the full Volume 63 – some 150 pages of comics, including Extras; plus access the upcoming Volume 64 in seven parts over seven weeks, plus 65, the same, plus 66, the same, etc, etc… All, as we mentioned, for just £1per week.
“This is the best deal in original comics art storytelling anywhere, on or off the net,” says publisher David Lloyd, “and it’s run by the guy who brought you V For Vendetta! I mean, what more credentials do you need for originality and creativity to try us out? Government bonds? Please. We’re at www.acesweekly.co.uk and we’re waiting for you!“
