Martin Eden, the creator of the acclaimed independent British comics The O Men, Spandex and Zeros, has just launched a new eight-issue mini-series, set partly in South Norwood, his home town.
Created for a local arts group in South Norwood, London, Martin describes The Mysterious Doors of Stanley Halls as “a thriller/ magic/ sci-fi story about a group of people who get trapped in a famous local building.

“I’ve gone back, a little bit, to my old O Men drawing style, so see what you think!” he enthuses.
“There are also some fun cartoons, such as ‘Captain South Norwood’.”

The first 20-page issue is 16 pages long (plus covers) and the series will be eight issues long.
Martin Eden is also the writer, artist and creator of The O Men, Spandex and Zeros, and is a longtime self-publisher of comics and freelance editor. His ongoing project, Zeros, returned for a second season in early 2021.
