Last week, downthetubes announced ran a competition aimed primarily at North West residents to win entry to the opening of the new Madame Tussauds Blackpool Doctor Who exhibit later today.
The competition, which closed at 12 noon on Wednesday 17th October, was circulated via downthetubes.net, and across various social media points. Over 2300 people read the story on the site.
The winners were Sally Bradnam, Michael Coulson, Andy Currington, Matthew Freeman (no relation!), Kathryn Glover, Samm Parker, Paul Pickford, Matthew Ross, Ezekiel Thorp and Lea Walsh.
Congratulations to the winners, commiserations to the losers, who all correctly identified Sheffield as the principal setting for the Doctor Who episode The Woman Who Fell to Earth.
Our thanks to Madame Tussauds Blackpool for the competition.
