Comic creators Colin MacNeil, Colin Maxwell and Keith Burns have been announced as guests at the next Commando and British Comics Swap Meet, taking place in Glasgow next April.
Focusing entirely on British comics, Swap-Meet 10 will be held in Glasgow at the 29th Glasgow Scout Group, Cameron Halls, on Saturday 1st April 2023. There will be thousands of Commando comics and other Picture Libraries on sale, and British weeklies such as 2000AD, Warlord, Battle, Beano, Misty, Bunty, Whizzer and Chips, Victor, and more.
This is not a comic-con – don’t expect to see lycra-clad Superheroes, just comics/annuals and comic-readers.
More guests will be announced soon. Check out the Commando and British Weekly Comics – Collectors, Buy, Sell and Swaps Page on Facebook for more information.
The venue is 15 minute train ride from Glasgow Central to Pollokshaws East, with a five minute walk to the venue, or a five mins drive from Junction 2 of M77 motorway, with ample on street parking. There will be brews ‘n’ butties, a charity raffle, and all proceeds will go toward the 29th Glasgow Scout Group.
