The new 2000AD, Prog 2310, is on its way to comic shops and newsagents today, Wednesday 30th November, with a whip cracking, ghoulish cover courtesy of Tom Foster to catch the unwary.
This latest issue is the second to last regular issue of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic, with Prog 2312, the bumper Christmas issue of 2000AD, now just two weeks away, with a standout cover by Andy Clarke (Batman).
Next week sees the release of two new collections, including Finn: Origins, a strip that began in Crisis and continued in 2000AD when the former was cancelled. Fans of the story have been keen to see a collection for a while, which includes some of Liam Sharp’s work for 2000AD post Marvel UK.

In the second, and concluding, volume of Karl the Viking the brave Briton takes the fight even further abroad than before as he and his band of warriors battle against the rival viking Gefion One-Eye in Africa, become mercenaries in a violent dispute between treacherous Russian tribes, and survive against fantastical and unnatural sea monsters.
Karl the Viking is the series which made Don Lawrence’s reputation, and it was on this basis that he was hired to revolutionise painted comic art with The Trigan Empire. This volume also contains stories written by Michael Moorcock penned when he was just beginning to create the adventures of Elric.
