Regular downthetubes reader and comics archivist Norman Boyd has kindly drawn our attention to an issue of Stamp Collector magazine, published late last year, which included a great feature on superhero stamps.
The November 2021 issue, copies still available here from the publisher, All About Stamps, takes a look at comic stamps, and also takes collectors around the world, examining the stamps of Iran, Tunisia, and Western Samoa.
The feature tied in with the launch of the Royal Mail DC Collection, celebrating superheroes such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and more, released in September 2021 – and also still currently available here.

Stamp Collector magazine is a monthly guide to the world of stamps and stamp collecting, bringing you all the information and inspiration you need to build your collection.
