The Vigilant, the first title in the “Rebellion-verse” from 2000AD‘s publishers has already been announced as a one-shot title in August featuring classic British comic superheroes, but now, comics store Forbidden Planet has revealed its variant cover by Trevor Hairsine for the title.
When the evil forces of Von Hoffman and Dr Mesmer team up and pluck the immortal Adam Eterno from the winds of time, all of reality is under threat!
Only The Vigilant – a mighty team composed of super-beings, warlocks, warriors and monsters stand between us and total chaos! Join The Leopard from Lime Street, Steel Commando, Dr. Sin, Pete’s Pocket Army, Blake Edmonds, Yäo and Thunderbolt the Avenger on their premiere adventure.
London’s Forbidden Planet Megastore will be hosting a Vigilant signing on Saturday 18th August (1 – 2.00pm) with writer Simon Furman, and artist Simon Coleby.
Available from newsagents in the UK on 15th August 2018, The Vigilant will also be available to order from all good comic book stores.
• Forbidden Planet are now taking orders here for their variant cover edition | The regular cover can be pre-ordered here
• If you missed laying your hands on a print copy, then grab the digital edition of last year’s Scream and Misty Special, where this reboot kicked off, from the 2000AD online store
