Comics season is upon us. Every weekend for the next couple months it seems there’s a festival, exhibition, small press day or major releases to occupy your eyeballs. So, what better time time for OFF LIFE, the UK’s only street press comic, to open their doors to comic submissions for their next issue?
OFF LIFE publishes a magazine full of indie comics and illustration to help showcase the comic art form and the incredible talent working within it. Over eleven issues they’ve featured some of today’s most exciting creators, including Jack Teagle, Kristyna Baczynski, Kyle Platts, Jamie Coe, Ana Galvan, Box Brown and Jean Jullien.
“As ever we’re looking for one to four page comics that have something honest, insightful or fresh to say,” says Daniel Humphry, Editor. “Aside from not accepting genre work (think spandex, sandals or space) we’re completely to open to all types of work – whether that’s a minimal page about modern dating or a surreal epic about the political armageddon we’re currently going through. We want to see it all!”
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never been published or have been published everywhere. The OFF LIFE team are a democratic bunch and we consider all comics just the same. So if you’ve already got a comic ready or if you’ve just a passing interest, please drop them a hello at: info@offlife.co.uk.
