Exclusive Preview: Ron Turner’s Tit-Bits SF Comics

Earlier this week, we ran our review of the penultimate issue of Ron Turner’s Space Ace (Volume 11).

Well, we have an exclusive look at a new vintage comics project from publisher John Lawrence, again featuring Ron Turner’s work – and I think it’s more than an inducement to find out how to subscribe early!

Ron Turner’s Tit-Bits SF Comics

Ron Turner’s Tit-Bits SF Comics will re-publish Ron’s contributions to the scarce 1953-54 title published by Pearson, which ran for just six issues, coloured by John Ridgway.

This new project will be published at A5 size, reflecting the original comic’s smaller “digest” or “pocket library” size, the remastered pages approximately 30 per cent larger than the Tit Bits pages.

As you can see, John is doing an incredible job on the pages, originally published in black and white.

This new publication is, John Lawrence emphasises, dependent on support from Ron Turner fans, so if you’ve enjoyed Space Ace, then get in touch with the publisher about how to buy this new project.

The first issue will feature “Diamonds of Death”, a story that has only ever appeared in France.
