Chapter 4 of DC Comics‘ digital first Vampire Diaries series goes on sale today and features “Through a Glass Darkly” by Leah Moore and John Reppion, drawn by the hugely talented George Kambadais, who has posted two unused covers for the project on his tumblr.
Elena, Stefan and Damon make their comics debut in a new series based on the hit US television show. This anthology series brings some of comics’ greatest talents to Mystic Falls, and set them loose to bring the characters to life. Or death. They are vampires, you know.
First announced in San Diego this summer with additional details shared at this year’s New York Comic-Con, The Vampire Diaries also features stories by B. Clay Moore, Colleen Doran Tony Shasteen and Cat Staggs, among others.
Along with Vampire Diaries and many other projects (not least of them Damsels for Dynamite Entertainment), Leah and John tells us they are “working on a pitch for a Big Exciting Thing.
“It’s hard to judge what to put into a pitch and what to leave out,” Leah revealed on Twitter this morning.
