Fans of Doctor Who are likely to be bidding furiously on some of the standout items in the early May Phil-Comics auction, with some fine-looking collectible comics and magazines relating to the show on offer, including a copy of the Radio Times promoting the early story, The Dalek Invasion of Earth.
Here are just a few of the some 250 listings offering a wide array of vintage comics, annuals, free gifts, which include a rare pre-war Beano, No. 31, cover dated 25th February 1939.

He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of "Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies" for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
