The sixth Professor Howe book from Long Scarf Publications debuted at the Doctor Who Appreciation Society’s event The Capitol in April, and is now available to order online.
Written by Jamie Hailstone, with a cover by Ian Clark, Professor Howe and the Shanghaied Scientists is the long awaited parody of the Doctor Who story Time and the Rani, created as a not for profit charity fund raiser for Children in Need.
Also coming later this year are Professor Howe and the Crippled Capsule and Professor Howe and the Chaotic Courtroom, also Children in Need fund raising projects.
Also available now online is a reprint of Professor Howe and the Toothless Tribe by Christopher Samuel Stone, a funny and affectionate parody of the first Doctor Who story, mixed with political intrigue and a very powerful woollen garment.
Written by Christopher Samuel Stone, a strange job interview in London turns out to be life changing for Alania, an innocent librarian from London.
Along with Cy, their curiosity takes them to an apparent building site, a flying saucer and the rather rubbish traveller in space and time known as Professor Howe.
Bur this is the mere beginning of a tale that puts the combined wits of our heroes against a wigged villain, and leads to the search for a very powerful woollen artefact..
